History:  In the heyday of the 19th Century, downtown Fort Worth was known as Hell's Half Acre.  It was a hangout for outlaws, cattlemen, cowboys, gamblers and assorted legendary characters.  Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (Harry Longabraugh) frequented the area. Today this 20 block area has been restored to a pleasant combination of old and new architecture.  It is a model of modern entertainment, residential living and busy offices, all in an historical setting.                                   3Dmap Virtual Tour Downtown
